My unforgetable remarkable weird ordinary Indonesian literature teacher👨

Here we go.

I would like to let you know about my teacher in islamic high school.
His name is Asyikin. It is almost the same like word "asik" which means "fun".

Yes.
The way he taught the students was so fun.
He taught indonesian literature in my class. He introduced us about a lot of unusual and unique indonesian poems we didnt know beforehand.

I dont remember all the things about Indonesian Literature he taught.
All i remember the most is just the way he taught and the inspiring words he told.

He said "Art means that what beautiful for you doesnt always mean beautiful for me. You perhaps dont like rock music but others may like it. You can say art is a beauty and there is no exact definition of beauty since everyone defines it in different way.

Whenever i remember what he said, I learn not to force someone to have the same opinion like me and to agree with what i believe as the truth. For me, everyone has different point of views, and we have to respect their decisions, ideas, and opinions as we expect others to respect ours as well.

His words are really stuck in my head.
I can still remember it clearly.

He is so unpredictable and confusing person i've ever known because there is a fact that no teacher in my school who has his phone number but school building keeper. 😁 I wonder why.
He is a teacher in my school but why the only one who knows his number is just school building keeper?

(Well! Let's just forget about it and go on reading)

He is also one of the funniest teachers i've ever met.
He shared each of us a piece of paper consisting 10 questions.
He gave us 5 minutes to finish them! That was so crazy!
I answered 5 questions carefully and i found that the questions were so stupid. I forget what the questions are like but maybe it is gonna be like this "how many letter B do you find in the word Belambangan Umpu?"

I wondered why 3 of my friends could finish it in no time and write i am done on the white board immediately.

I kept going on and tried to accomplish all those stupid questions.

And when i came to the last question i got annoyed since it said "ignore all questions and just wrote i am done on white board".

Whaaaaaattttttttt??
What a waste of time and energy i've spent!
Well i laughed in the end.
I learn something "Dont take everything seriously! We need to chill out and laugh a moment."

Hmm.. Oh yeah..

He once got angry with my class because we made a noise while he was explaining something.
He didn't yell at us or threw a boardmarker to our head or even slam the door at that time.
What he did was so surprising.

He ordered half of students to go outside the class to see around the school yard and tell everything they found outside and the rest of students were asked to stay in the class.
While some students were out. The teacher asked the students inside the class to keep silent and ignore their friends when their friends came back to the class and started to tell everything they found outside the class.

After finishing to see around and get something to tell, they entered the class and they were asked to tell everything they found outside to their seatmates who were only asked to stay in the class.

I was the one who stayed in the class so when my friend told me everything she found in the school yard, i just kept silent and ignored her.

I wanted to laugh at that time because i couldnt pretend in that way. But i tried not to laugh. My friend was so confused and annoyed to be ignored by me. Her face turned red like fire.

The class became full of silence until in the end my teacher broke the silence and said "how does it feel to be ignored by your friends while you are talking?"

 "Annoying.."some students replied

"do you like to be treated in that way?" asked my teacher.

"no... " we answered.

He said and smiled "Well.. I hope you learn something today.. Respect others as you expect someone to respect you. "

Finally he left the class before his class actually ended.

I got impressed of what he did.
About how he expressed his anger and advice in a good way instead of yelling or cursing us.

He is so a remarkable and unforgetable teacher.I feel so lucky to meet him and have him as my teacher.

I hope he's always in Allah 's guidance and protection.

I think that's all i want to share to you.
Wish you get a lesson from what i've shared here.

And thanks for reading!
